A connection to Pattanayak’s article In the article Pattanayak emphasizes “ la nguage cannot be disassociated from people, which has important consequences for those who grow up speaking different dialects. ” (84). She argues that the idea of a single correct way of writing is flawed and should be replaced by better ideas. She propounds that writers should come up with distinct linguistic choices in able to appeal to various audiences. As a person who ’ s first language is Spanish I agree with the argument that there is and should be more than one correct way of writing as it is sated in Pattanyak ’s article. It is a way in which people will have the liberty to express their ideas, thoughts, and stories in a more permissive way.
